A World of Orchids is only 10 minutes drive away down Old Lake Wilson road. This is a wonderful place to spend some time, whatever the time of the year. There are always hundreds of luxuriant and rare flowers in bloom as wel as nature trails to follow.

Bok Tower Gardens are situated near Lake Wales, 1 hour south of Kissimmee on Highway 27. Featuring a 205 foot singing tower with 57 bronze bells in the centre of a sanctuary set between reflecting pools and winding pathways.

Winter Park is located 25 mins drive east on route I.4. This is Orlando's pride and joy. An area of expensive residences, lake views and parks. It has the city's most exclusive shops at Park Avenue and offers scenic boat tours of the areas natural lakes and rivers. There is also the Charles Homer Museum of Art, where there are fabulous Tiffany stained glass and Faberge eggs.

Fantasy of Flight is located about 30 mins drive west on I.4 in Polk County. A plane lovers paradise, and a treat for the children, boasting the largest private collection of vintage aircraft in the world. You can take a simulated sky diving experience and experience floating on air in Orlando's high energy vertical wind tunnel.

Buena Vista Water Sports is a short drive on east 192 to SR535. Located next to Holiday Inn and Lake Buena Vista. Here you can rent wave runners, jet skis, sea doos, water skis and waterboards.
